Prince’s Trust Magic FM Competition – Winners!!

Two year 10 groups have been following the Princes Trust XL course since September.
The groups have been looking at team work at the start of the year and as part of this entered a competition to win a day visit to the Magic FM / Kiss radio studios.

Their task was to record a radio show that lasted no more than 10 minutes and had all the elements of a regular radio show – music, news, weather, travel, sport, interviews etc.
Both groups worked incredibly hard on the project, researching their part of the show, writing scripts, practising their parts and both produced excellent radio shows with the help of Dr.P at Middle Park Community Centre.

Both groups were shortlisted to the final ten entries (out of over 100) and we are delighted to announce that the group calling themselves EFFM have won the competition!! The winning group will be experiencing a day at the Magic FM / Kiss FM radio station sometime in the new year, meeting the DJs and seeing how the station runs.
