Why Study Business Studies?
The study of Business not only gives students a greater appreciation of World around them but also comprises a rich academic foundation that can be seen through the numerous Business Schools that exist throughout the World.
Business Studies can therefore boast both a practical element as well as an intellectual one. This means students will learn the practical skills associated with Business practice such as: professionalism, giving presentations, team work, creativity and organisation. As well as more intellectual skills such as: analysis, evaluation and active reading.
If two of the key purposes of education is to help us understand more fully the World around us, as well as prepare us for our employment within it- then Business Studies can be seen as a potentially important subject in a student’s education.
